A website for the residents of Grovehill and Piccotts End, Hemel Hempstead, grovehillconservatives.org.uk aims to provide information about what's going on in the ward and how your local Conservative team is trying to keep Grovehill and Piccotts End a great place to live. 'About Grovehill Conservatives' is well, about us!
And of course, we're proud to live in and be part of the Borough of Dacorum.
Back in March 2020, it was sadly decided to suspend our In Touch newsletter as during the first lock-down, delivering it just wouldn't have been right. Just as things looked like they may have been returning to some kind of normality, we published an Autumn 2020 In Touch but that too wasn't delivered due to the pandemic and by Christmas, well, things looked very similar to the situation earlier on in the year.
So a few weeks ago, the idea of a website was mentioned with a view to stay in touch with the residents of Grovehill. This wasn't the first time the idea had been discussed but this time around, on 17th March 2021 grovehillconservatives.org.uk went live.
We still have a lot of work to do. Indeed things look a bit thin at the moment but please be patient. We'll soon make available for download, back-issues of our In Touch news letter as well as posting here, news and articles on local issues.
You can now request our In Touch newsletter to be e-mailed to you here.
If you want to contact your Grovehill Conservative team, please don't hesitate to send us a message here.
ABOUT GROVEHILL CONSERVATIVES - YOUR TEAM
Julie Banks - First elected 2015.
Julie lives and works locally. Many will know her as the manager of the Grovehill Community Centre. Easily contactable, Julie is always too willing to help residents with their issues and is perfectly placed to keep an eye on Henry Wells Square. Mother of two, Julie can relate to issues such as road safety and child care. Julie is also very well known to many of Grovehill's more senior citizens and again is only too keen to help.
Alexander Bhinder - First elected 2007.
Like many of us, Alex became increasingly concerned about local issues such as anti-social behaviour, litter, roads, development and youth provisions. With a view to try to do something about things that really bother many of us, Alex ran for election in 2007. Passionate about Grovehill and its residents, Alex feels quite privileged to be able to represent his community and help with residents' issues.
Colette Wyatt-Lowe - First elected 2009.
Calm, methodical, very professional and ultimately determined to get the job done, Colette is the best representation for three local councillors at county level. Colette completely supported the case for all major roads in Grovehill to be resurfaced and amongst so many other issues which she takes to county, continues on her mission to repair pavements and maintain our roads.
Don't forget; your borough councillors don't work for Dacorum Borough Council and
your county councillor doesn't work for Hertfordshire County Council. They work for you!
Actually, the Grovehill Conservative team comprises many more than just your local councillors. In fact we have so many members that it would be impractical to list them all on this About Grovehill Conservatives page! We would however, like to take this opportunity to express our special thanks to everyone who's supported us over the years.
If you'd like to join the team, please just get in touch.
